"Admission Open For 2016-17 From Pre-Nursery To Class VIII" (Upto Class XII in Due Course)Our Educational Approach

"What the teacher is, is more important than what he teaches."
- Karl Menninger

Our Educational approach and methodology has been designed specifically and differently for the nursery and primary sections. It is not a one- time approach but a continuous on- going process with individual attention, sensitivity and empathy being the essential pre-requisites.

A child friendly curriculum has been designed with emphasis on experiential learning. The activities have been planned based on children’s interest, to facilitate learning through encouragement and also engage in a positive adult child interaction. In the nursery section a combination of some of the best approaches from the Montessori Method, the Multiple Intelligence method and the Regio Emilia method are converged and implemented. The curriculum also includes field visits to various places giving an opportunity for children and teachers to show that learning need not be an isolated experience, but can be fun and enjoyable too.

The trained, experienced Teaching staff at Srinidhi Public School undergo an Induction Programme for a week at the beginning of the academic year to imbibe the spirit of our values and mission. Orientation Programmes are conducted as an on going process through the academic year. The teachers are also available to counsel parents at one on one levels helping children to overcome their hurdles.

The academic year for the Primary section begins with an understanding of the learning styles of children and evaluating each one of their strengths. Subsequent to this a Readiness to School programme is conducted for about 4 weeks, so as to bring children from mixed backgrounds to a common platform.

Keeping in line with guidelines of National Curriculum Framework For School Education proposed by National Council of Educational Research & Training due importance is given to teaching Hindi as a National Language along with Sanskrit .Integrated Thematic Approach helps learning to be healthy ,enjoyable and stress free.

Evaluation occupies a significant place and is realistic, transparent and humane and involves learning, systematic collection, analysis and interpretation of student’s progress
